Red winter wheat and trade
Bourbons is ordinarily fabricated based on corn, on malt and on rye. However, Bill Samuel Sr, the founder of Maker' s Mark has idea in 1951, to work out his own recipe by replacing the rye with some red winter wheat.
Maker' s Mark is entirely handmade to keep this unique aroma in the course of the process of manufacture. It is enthusiasts who choose the best grains, control their cooking, watch distillation, put in barrel, move barrels and taste the bourbon to decide on its bottling. Chocolate cream filling in the bourbon

Mint Julep in Lutetia
Giles Guyomarch, leader barman in Lutetia, visits again Mint Julep, cocktail served traditionally in his tin kettledrum, composed of the bourbon famous, sugar of cane and of cool mint. Stage tendency to the Cicada Récamier and its soufflés
The famous leader Gérard Idoux, discovers the bourbon in December, 2007 and declares: “I found in Maker' s Mark what I like in my soufflés: fair balance between softness and character”. A soufflé to be savoured watered delicately with Maker' s Mark registered therefore as a logical continuation. This soft and thick soufflé, bottom in the mouth in its tasting. The broad bean of tonka and the aromas of vanillas bring to light perfumes of liquorice and of vanilla of the bourbon.
