Red winter wheat and trade
Bourbons is ordinarily fabricated based on corn, on malt and on rye. However, Bill Samuel Sr, the founder of Maker' s Mark has idea in 1951, to work out his own recipe by replacing the rye with some red winter wheat.
Maker' s Mark is entirely handmade to keep this unique aroma in the course of the process of manufacture. The famous leader Gérard Idoux, discovers the bourbon in December, 2007 and declares: “I found in Maker' s Mark what I like in my soufflés: fair balance between softness and character”.
