Tasting express: Burdigala - Rock of Jeans Lys earthed up 2006 (Clarets Supérieur)

As part of the promotion of Grand Tasting 2008, Bettane and Desseauve, in partnership with Wine and Co, make us discover several wines which will enrapture the papillae of the amateurs.

Burdigala – Rock of Jean Lys 2006 earthed up
Red wine coming from a marriage of grape varieties merlot (72 %) and Cabernet-francs (28 %), very dark in reflexions ruby, this Claret Supérieur returns plant notes and undergrowth in the nose. In mouth, fruits typical of the appellation (blackcurrant, prune) get married in spices. Burdigala – earthed up Rock of Jean Lys 2006 is a fleshy, powerful and almost rough wine at the end of mouth. A classical production for an alliance fromagère classical, as an accompaniment a tomme of mountains or a black tomme of the Pyrenees. Terra Burdigala – Roc de Jean Lys 2006 est un vin charnu et puissant, presque râpeux en fin de bouche. Une production classique pour une alliance fromagère classique, en accompagnement d’une tomme des montagnes ou d’une tomme noire des Pyrénées.
