Wine Guide of Friuli Venezia Guilia [Vinexpo 2009]

Vinexpo, Claret, on Monday, June 22nd, 2009, 11 h 30 - The Tourist information office of Fruiti Venezia Giulia has introduced this morning during Vinexpo 2009 its guide local wines “Guided del Vini Friuli Venezia Giulia“.

New appellation Fruilano
The Tourist information office of Fruiti Venezia Giuli uses the presentation of this guide to communicate on a new appellation: Friulano.
Reputed to produce very good whites, this northeast region of Italy distinguishes itself by the minéralité of these wines and the wealth of these autochthonous grape varieties which combine Latin, Germanic and Slavonic influence. Friulano is part of the vineyard Fruiti Venezia Giuli whom, composed of 9 zones DOCTOR and DOCG, is one of the most important wine Italian regions. Indeed, 1 700 farms which compose her produce every year more than 100 million bottles on 20 000 hectares. En effet, les 1 700 exploitations agricoles qui la composent produisent chaque année plus de 100 millions de bouteilles sur 20 000 hectares.
